The importance of marketing using search engines by B2B marketers is the same as well:
95 % of people would use search engines to research B2B purchase online.
64% of people would use search engine over consumer review sites, e-commerce sites, manufacturer’s sites, and industry portals on their search for B2B information.

Companies are now spending more on online advertising and this will continue to rise.

Positioning, one of the four Ps of marketing, is an absolutely critical element of the marketing mix. It is important that you positioned to be where your customer is when your customer is ready to buy. If not, you lose and your competitor who is in that place at that time wins. The purpose of SEO & SEM is to be positioned in those places where your customer is.
